Rally Cars

Every now and then, and with a lot of luck, brand new books turn up in bookshops that actually had been long out of print. In 2000, McKlein founder and rally photo artist Reinhard Klein made the ultimate and very big book about rally cars, named simply “Rally Cars”. 600 pages full of excellent photos and the most important cars – of which there were quite a lot thanks to the enormous variety in rallying. The standard work on rally cars from the past to 2000 begins with answers to the seemingly simple question “What is a rally car?”, describes the technology as well as its evolution in detail and then works its way through era by era and car by car to the state of the WRC at the turn of the millennium. Apart from Reinhard Klein, the author/photographer team includes McKlein partner Colin McMaster, rally veteran John Davenport and top journalist David Williams.
So now a few copies of the celebrated work have once again surfaced – intact and still originally shrink-wrapped. A unique chance to get this book, which has been out of print for a good 20 years and is still highly sought after, produced to a high standard and as full of facts as it is of pictures, brand new once again.
