World Rallying 2 (1979)

Holmes was the chronicler and the memory of international rallying. He was present at more than 500 WRC rounds and fortunately kept records of virtually all of it. Until 2011, he published 33 of his legendary yearbooks with the precisely kept statistics of the (international and national) rallies of all countries from AUS (Australia) to ZA (South Africa). We can now offer a few like new copies from his estate.

Issue 2 offers a look back at the rally year 1979, the season in which a driver's world champion was crowned for the first time. Björn Waldegard ended up taking the title with just one point ahead of Hannu Mikkola. The cars offered the full range of rear-wheelers: Ford Escort, Fiat 131, Lancia Stratos, Datsun 160J and many more.
