The 24 Hours of Le Mans is the most famous car race in the world, and the venue has long since established itself as the Mecca of the sports car scene. Numerous brands established their sporting reputation here. A selection of the impressive racing cars is on display at the national car museum The Loh Collection in a special exhibition to mark the 100th anniversary of Le Mans. Jörg Walz has used this collection to describe "highlights". The race, the people behind the successes (and failures) and the many different vehicles provide plenty of material for exciting and interesting stories.
