Porsche 993 - 30 Years 1994-2024

Today, the last air-cooled Porsche 911 enjoys true cult status. The 993 generation is one of the most sought-after of the classic model series of the nine-eleven. As it rolled off the production line in just four full years (1994, 1995, 1996 and 1997), only relatively few vehicles were produced. Well-maintained examples of the Porsche 993 are therefore highly sought after.

In detailed interviews, nine-eleven enthusiasts Bernd Kahnau (project management) and Tony Hatter (design) report on how they were able to realize their vision for the last classic Porsche 911 with a small team. The result was one of the most beautiful and fascinating 911s ever made.
