Pirelli World Rallying 20

Martin Holmes was the chronicler and the memory of international rallying. He was present at more than 500 WRC rounds and fortunately kept records of virtually all of it. Until 2011, he published 33 of his legendary yearbooks with the precisely kept statistics of the (international and national) rallies of all countries from AUS (Australia) to ZA (South Africa). We can now offer a few like new copies from his estate.

Issue 20 looks back at the rally year 1997. For the sport, it was the dawn of a new era with the introduction of the World Rally Cars. Subaru Impreza WRC, Ford Escort WRC and later in the year Toyota Corolla WRC had tough competition with the Mitsubishi Lancer still running in Group A.
