Rallying '78

Holmes was the chronicler and the memory of international rallying. He was present at more than 500 WRC rounds and fortunately kept records of virtually all of it. Until 2011, he published 33 of his legendary yearbooks with the precisely kept statistics of the (international and national) rallies of all countries from AUS (Australia) to ZA (South Africa). We can now offer a few like new copies from his estate.

The first edition of the yearbook series offers a look back at the rally year 1978. It was a year full of diversity in the WRC. Six drivers (Nicolas, Waldegard, Alen, Röhrl, Darniche and Mikkola) and five different cars (Porsche 911, Peugeot 504, Ford Escort, Fiat 131 and Lancia Stratos) managed to score victories.
