The world's most challenging race event, like every year, led its participants through the most treacherous and breath-taking terrain. 264 motorcycles, 189 cars and 85 trucks took part with some of the greatest names in motorsport, including Stephane Peterhansel, Luc Alphand or Ari Vatanen. Departing Portugal and weaving through Africa, from Marocco to Senegal, many were forced out of contention by the tough conditions. The dramatic footage and competitor interviews ensure Dakar-atmosphere at its best till the last second.
