The author: Hervé Guyomard ran the Bugatti Circuit from 1971 to 2006 and was involved in the organisation of around five hundred competitions on the Le Mans circuits. Now retired, he created the heritage department of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest and organises guided tours of the museum and the Le Mans 24 Hours circuit.
