Lamborghini Diablo (Supercars)

The Diablo was such an important car for Lamborghini. Not simply because it took up the boundless iconic legacy of the Countach with effortless grace, but above all because this is the car that single-handedly navigated Lamborghini’s darkest historical periods until it reached serenity. The engineering talent of Luigi Marmiroli and the artistry of Marcello Gandini gave birth to a car that was refined over time so that it always remained close to its evolving clientele. With the Diablo, Lamborghini moved from a handcrafted dimension to production methods that among other things allowed it to be the first Lamborghini in history available in two bodywork variants. The Diablo made it clear to all enthusiasts that the Countach was no isolated case, but that at Lamborghini there was an ability to build cars of great significance and originality.
