The idea of a Porsche SUV already existed since the fifties and was discussed again and again until the board finally decided on the realization in 1998. The Porsche Cayenne became the biggest sales success in the company’s history. After barely more than 10 years, Cayenne number 500,000 was produced in Leipzig. “Bestseller Story” shows hitherto unpublished images from the design process and is complemented by one of Dr. Wolfgang Porsche’s rare interviews.
