Ferrari Official Yearbook 2003

From Suzuka 1999 to Suzuka 2003: Nine Ferrari world titles! The Ferrari Yearbook relives the emotion of yet another exciting Formula 1 year. The F2003-GA, dedicated to Giovanni Agnelli, did not let the side down and, driven by Michael Schumacher, brought the Scuderia Ferrari victory in the Constructors' and the Drivers' championships. Ferrari is the first team in F1 history that can boast five consecutive Constructors' Championship wins. This precious volume recalls 2003 from various angles. Pride of place is given to the 612 Scaglietti, the new 12 cylinder model that will be officially presented at the Detroit Motorshow in January 2004. The new 2+2, constructed entirely in aluminium, has in its DNA genes that derive from competition. The gearbox, aerodynamics and active safety systems all come from the racetrack. For Ferrari, Formula 1 is an advanced research lab and the success that the Scuderia has enjoyed is the proof of this. Commercial returns equal the sporting highs, obtained by the GT cars, from the Challenge Stradale to the 575M Maranello, are due to the global commitment of the House of Maranello, inside and outside racing.
