In the 1930s, a famous racing driver and his car made motor racing history. The name of the car was Romulus, a blue painted E.R.A., the driver was Prince Bira. Together with his cousin Prince Chula he formed the Whitemouse racing team, which won the BRDC Goldstar for three years in succession and became famous all around the world.
But one dream remained: to race Romulus in front of their home crowd. Chula's plans for that were interrupted by the intervention of WWII.
Fifty years later, his daughter fulfilled his dream. Fifteen historic cars assembled for the Bangkok historic Grand Prix, amongst them Romulus, BMW's and Alfa Romeos.
This is sixty glorious minutes of motor racing history, including pre-war footage from Chula's daughter's personal archive.
