Le Mans 24H 2018 Yearbook

Finally, 2018 was the year of Toyota in le Mans. After a series of misfortunes over years the Japanese brand could score a double victory with Sébastien Buemi, Kazuki Nakajima and former F1 champion Fernando Alonso climbing the top spot of the podium.

But not only the LMP1 and LMP2 categories had their highlights. BMW returned to the GTE Pro class, but the victory went to Stuttgart as the 991 RSR GTE in legendary “Pink Pig” colours claimed the victory. The success of the Dempsey Proton Racing Porsche 911 RSR in the GTE Am category made it a double victory for the German manufacturer as well.
