The Seventies were an extremely interesting period in the history of Formula One, as many of the technical details we take for granted on a modern Grand Prix car were invented then. It is during this period that the author started visiting GP races, taking numerous photographs, which are now published for the first time. As the book covers all the marques that participated in Formula One racing from 1973 to 1980 it provides a broad picture of the development of the GP car in that era. The Formula 1 teams from Alfa Romeo to Wolf are comprehensively presented. The focus is on the countless black-and-white photographs - race photos as well as atmospheric scenes from the pit lane.
