Almeras - La Passion Porsche

This is the story of the long career of the brothers Jean-Marie and Jacques Alméras, who became legendary far beyond France’s borders with their Porsches as drivers, tuners and team bosses. The chronicle of Alméras Frères was written by Jacques Privat, an author renowned for his great accuracy. It takes readers from hill climbs to rallying in the world championship to circuit races on the level of the no less legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans. The last part is dedicated to the Martinet by Alméras team, which has been run by Philippe Alméras, the son of Jacques and Chantal, since 2014. The author interviewed numerous contemporary witnesses and was allowed to rummage through the photo albums of the Alméras family. The publishing house, with its large photo archive, was able to draw from its own trove, and thus numerous previously unpublished pictures and documents came to light.
