Giuseppe Farina was the nephew of legendary car designer Batista Farina (Pininfarina) and the first Formula 1 World Champion in 1950. This book tells his story in motor racing, from the beginning of his career in 1933 with an Alfa Romeo and joining the works team three years later to his retirement in 1956 at the age of 50. In 1966 Farina was killed in an accident on an open road, when his car hit a telegraph pole.
