Rally is global. Follow this visual spectacle from the lush pampas of Argentina to the 3-dimensional forest roads of Finland, from the hillsides of Catalunya to the Sierra of Mexico. The early slightly modified road cars have become modern World Rally Cars, high-tech machines which have little in common with the road cars they still resemble.
Reinhard Klein and his colleagues have photographed this development over 40 years and all over the world. The results of hours spent trudging through mud, waiting in sub-zero temperatures or battling with the heat of the desert whilst following their passion for this sport are presented in this book. The forewords are by Bjorn Waldegard, the WRC's first champion driver, and nine times world champion Sebastian Loeb.
